Tour Intensity
This tour is all about capturing the scenic beauty of Litchfield National Park. Departing Darwin you will pass by Francis Bay on Darwin Harbour, with a short break at the town of Batchelor before stopping at the Meridean Termite Mounds where you will have the opportunity to learn about Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds.
Moving deeper into the park, a stop at Florence Falls will give you stunning views of the falls and even the opportunity to walk down to the plunge pool for a cool dip in this oasis. Moving on with a guided walk, you’ll come across a breathtaking valley with a waterfall and distant views towards the coast over cattle stations, with a view like no other, this is Tolmer Falls.
More scenic beauty awaits you as you pass through Monsoon forests and woodland areas. You will also visit Wangi Falls with plunge pool, a stunning waterfall and pool that is surrounded by Pandanas palms and even have some spare time for a swim in these beautiful surrounds or take a walk through the lush tropical rainforest or just sit back and relax.
